Understand more about how your mind controls your body and how you might adapt if you were born without an arm or if you lost your arm. Discover what it’s like to wear a prosthetic now and in the past. Using the latest virtual reality and augmented reality technologies, you’ll experience some real-life challenges, hear from people who have or haven’t chosen to use a prosthetic arm, and find out how research is transforming the lives of people who use and don’t use prosthetics. This Wellcome Trust-funded interactive exhibition showcases Sheffield Hallam University’s cutting-edge biomedical and technological research.
